Before you say “I can’t, say “I’ll try”
and then GIVE IT YOUR BEST!
Every day in the fitness world is battle. Every meal, every time you open the fridge, every day that you wake up.
Nutrition has by far been my DEMON. So far, I haven’t successfully beat it but I’m giving it my damn hardest try. I have been making excuses for months now and it’s gotten me nowhere but fatter. This is dumb and I’m over it. Layne says do it, I have to do it.
Since my first contest last November I binged for about the first 3 weeks and gained 10 lbs back super quick. Since then it’d be a relatively decent week following the “plan” and then I’d cave and binge again… I’m not talking about a few extra pieces of chicken and almonds.
I mean a whole apple pie, with pizza in between, washed down with a shake, then a trip through schlotsky’s for a sandwich and a cinnabon. then go to the store and eat from the bulk bins while I scope out a bucket of ice cream to take back home and pour chocolate bits all over. That’s a binge. and it usually wouldn’t stop there, it’d go on for another day or so.
My stomach would bloat up so big I looked pregnant and my skin was stretching. Of course then I’d complain and wonder why I’m getting fat and why I’m all bloated.
So this is it. That is over, what was wrong with me?! Oh yeah…. Americans are fat and bad food is everywhere and pushed on you everywhere you look.
Ugh.
